About Us

Kinsman was established in 2012 to provide affordable, rented accommodation and shared ownership accommodation for those in housing need. We are committed where possible, but not limited to, supporting Keyworker groups, i.e. nurses, police, and those in the fire service. Kinsman understands the important role that the individuals in these industries play within each and every community, and without them, our vision to provide ‘A place where everyone is proud to live, work and play’ would be much more challenging without their inclusion. It has never been more apparent these key workers require that extra assistance in the prevailing climate. 

Kinsman’s aspiration, and a matter close to the hearts of many of our board members, is how we can help to house serving and ex, M.O.D personnel as they are often an overlooked and unsupported group. Considering their years of service, they deserve to be fully supported and re-integrated back into the environments we are trying to create. Our Chairman and several board members have had first-hand experience of the lack of assistance offered to these groups and therefore, within our delivery of this plan, we will look to dedicate extra attention to schemes favourable to this group.
