Our Board performs a critical role in challenging and supporting the organisation to achieve its goals and aspirations. They understand the vital links with all our associated service providers. They are carefully selected for their knowledge and understanding of the roles they are asked to perform. Kinsman Housing is led by a board with a wide range of experience in relevant fields, who are concerned to improve the quality of life for our customers.

David Kane (Chairman)

David joined GL Hearn in November 2006 following 21 years of operating in the residential estate agency sector in Central London. David has extensive experience in marketing new build homes both in London and the Far East and was responsible for pioneering major launches of London developments in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Taipei.

He has provided consultancy to developers on potential sites and refurbishment projects. Alongside the development work, David continues to utilise his valuation experience to provide valuations for various companies across the London market.

Andy Cox 

Andy has been involved in property development, land purchasing and construction since 2000 and currently works as a Commercial Director for a development organisation, specialising in volumetric construction.

Andy has served 4 years in the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, carried out two active tours of Northern Ireland and served in Germany. He was extremely honoured to join Kinsman as the Military is still a big part of his life and to be able to help and support serving, and ex-service personnel gives him a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure.

Graeme Lafferty 

Graeme has extensive experience in Health and safety including knowledge of legislation and codes of practice and how they should be applied to varying sectors. He has often liaised with and managed contractors and Health and Safety professionals as well as carrying out facilities management.

Graeme is a very accomplished individual with several Health and safety qualifications as well as leadership and coaching and mentoring.

He continues to increase his personal development and is currently studying towards BIFM. He also has extensive experience and knowledge of working with and within the MOD having spent several years committed in the Royal Corp of Signals and the Medical Service Reserves. 

Chris Theo

Chris has spent the majority of his career working within the legal profession. He has gained invaluable knowledge within Residential and Commercial conveyancing, negotiations of Section 106 agreements, sales of affordable units to Housing Associations, refinancing, company share acquisitions and investment finance.  

He was educated at Barnfield College in Luton and then went on to further his education at Anglia University in Chelmsford gaining LPC AND LLB (Hons). He has great personal and interpersonal skills and possesses knowledge that will be beneficial to Kinsman.

Stuart Ellis

Stuart is a career accountant and financial controller, having held positions within this profession since 1990. He has experience in management, engaging with stakeholders and has also worked across a range of sectors, including social housing.

Stuart is an experienced accountant and provides a wealth of specialist knowledge to benefit Kinsman Housing.
